“had you out this am for a leak coming thru my family room ceiling and to replace a strainer basket under kitchen sink . quoted $505 for strainer basket {i can have entire sink assembly replaced for $600} but ok. then i was told i would be charged $420 to open a hole in the saturated ceiling panel! i can put my hand through the soaked panel for nothing. was told that would be only to access a hole to estimate the actual repair which could be from $600 to $3000. i get you cant determine damage until you see whats behind the drenched drywall ceiling but seriously $420 to make a hole in a wet panel? im 73 but not stupid. i paid your $95 tuition fee as that told me everything i needed to know about young plumbing.”
