“My sump pump was randomly running, and I had requested a technician to evaluate what the problem was. Two techs arrived at my home and I showed them to the sump pump. One sat on the floor (he was morbidly obese and perspiring) during the entire time, while the other proceeded to inspect the unit with a flashlight. I informed them that the unit would cycle for about 1 minute then shut-off. It cycled twice in their presence, and they proceeded to give me a detailed explanation citing that the battery was low, and needed to be replaced, but other wise THE SUMP PUMP WAS OPERATIONAL. I informed them that I had the unit since 2019 (with no issues) and now it was not functioning normally. I again asked was the unit operational and they both reiterated that it was OK. I remitted $95.00 as a service fee per our agreement. After they left I immediately called another service to assess the sump pump. This technician unplugged it, running it through another outlet, ran water through the system, and performed a physical inspection with a flashlight. He stated that after running water through the system IT WAS NOT OPERATIONAL OR FUNCTIONAL AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED! I had the sump pump replaced the next day. I strongly urge others to not consider this company for plumbing services due to their egregious lack of efficiency, and their lackadaisical approach to evaluating plumbing issues.”
